Dori Rutherford

Director of Federal Grants

Dori Greco Rutherford is a seasoned leader in project management, writing, and grants administration. With a strong background in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), grant-making, and policy advisory services, she has successfully managed multi-million-dollar portfolios, secured over $15 million in funding for clients from the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Justice, and provided technical assistance to government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Dori has played a pivotal role in shaping important initiatives, including at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (CFBCI), where she developed and oversaw grant programs fostering public-private partnerships. She has co-authored essential workforce development guides and spoken at conferences and workshops, representing both government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

As a consultant and grant writer, Dori continues to drive success for clients across sectors, leveraging her expertise in data analysis, writing, and technical assistance.

She lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her family where she enjoys cycling, skiing, trips to the mountains, and volunteering with her children’s schools.
